Congratulations and blessings for your upcoming wedding! This most joyous and sacred event of your lives can be a true expression of your love, your beliefs and values and the uniqueness of your relationship. Your wedding ceremony can be creative, personal, traditional or contemporary, spiritual, religious, formal or informal. The location can be of your own choosing, indoors, outdoors, any time or place!
I will work co-creatively with you closely to insure that your ceremony expresses everything you wish to say about who you are as a couple. You may choose or write your own vows. Careful attention will be given to your personal style, cultural traditions and spiritual, religious, or humanistic beliefs. I would be delighted to help you design a meaningful ceremony that expresses and strengthens your love and commitment.

Funerals/Memorials: Gentle, uplifting, inspirational, personal and respectful ceremonies can be co-created with the utmost love, compassion and care. I would be honored to present a service with warmth and meaning that touches the heart. Care will be taken to incorporate your religious, humanistic or spiritual beliefs. Attention to detail regarding the families and friends will play a part of this special event, so that it honors the life and relationships of your loved one.
Baby Naming/Blessing Ceremonies: What a joy to welcome the precious presence of a new little one to the family! Make this day sacred, filled with gratitude, acceptance and celebration as you welcome your child to the family! I will work closely with you to co-create a ceremony that reflects your beliefs and values for your newborn.
Inspirational Talks: Lila has offered sermons and Sunday lessons in churches for the past 12 years. She offers a variety of topics, such as: "The Gift, Giving and receiving God's love and light, Your Inner Light and its Creative Expression, and The Heart of Mysticism". She is motivational, dynamic, inspirational, and has the ability to create the space for a group or congregation to open up to whatever awareness or experience they need, from the inside out. Some locations Lila has delivered Messages/Sermons include: Unity Churches of West Banstable, Ma., Santa Rosa, Ca., Norwalk Ct., Albertson Memorial Church in Greenwich Ct., Concordia Church in Rhode Island.

Grief and Transition Counseling: The quality of the presence that Lila brings to this work is comforting, compassionate and open-hearted. Lila creates a safe environment where you can discuss and begin to resolve your issues that come up in the stages of grief. In the past 20 years in her private practice, she has had the calling to counsel those in grief, and more recently has been called to work with those who are preparing to transition. Her courage, faith and strength are there to surrender into the moment and be available for whatever is needed, with grace, kindness, understanding and mercy.
Spiritual Counseling: Counseling is offered on a short-term basis for your current issues, spiritual concerns and difficulties. This approach can support your letting go of pain and hurt, confusion, doubt and opening more fully to the experience of Divine wisdom, your own inner guidance, and sense of life purpose. Develop trust in Spirit, so you can begin to bring healing, forgiveness and peace to your heart. Lila is also available to counsel you in creating a spiritual practice or a meditation practice that is suitable to your beliefs.
